Is It Such a Bad Thing?

Hamas wins a landside victory in Palestine. Is this Trouble, or an Opportunity? Yes, they are a terrorist group, but by choosing to integrate themselves to government they're going to be forced to change their ideals and mission. Simply put, by going legitimate they're going to have to grow up. Terrorists are alot like jr. highers. Irriational, prone to radical action with little thought, unwilling and incapable to create a sustainable vision for the future ("I wanna be a rockstar when I grow up!"= "America is the Great Satan!"). Terrorists dwell in a very nebulous realm, they want revolution...... but then what? Then what? Rediculous all 'round. By going legitimate they will be forced to change. The worst that can happen is that they go beserk, but Israel is more then capable of protecting itself. I feel uncharacteristically optimistic about this. Hopefully it pans out alright.
