"I'm really into spiritual stuff now"
What does it means exactly? Alotta watery eyed snerts come into the bookstore looking for books about "spirituality." What they mean is stuff by Sylvia Browne, Eckhart Tolle, or Wayne Dyer. Miz Browne is arguably a nutter (she believes that "Atlanteans" blew up Atlantis because they poluted too much), Tolle is a flat stare'n gnome of a man who advocates "the power of Now" (whatever that is), and Dyer is a leftover from the self-affirming eighties. I think having "spirituality" is people trying to have religion... without religion. They cling to ego inflating and self absorbed philosophies that let them feel go about ignoring everyone else. It's just so... shallow, pointless, and mostly scamish in nature. These folks churn out tons of books and audio tapes and have workshops that all cost buku bucks. It seriously makes me sick to think of all the people einking money into this madness.
